Soon be time

It will soon be time to take the tree down and get the house back to 'normal' - whatever that might be. In the meantime I can still enjoy the decorations for a day or two more.

This one came all the way from Vermont and is as wonderful from behind as from the front. (Thank you, kind sender.)

  1. I was thinking of beginning the process of getting the house back to normal. The 'tree' is gone and that's in quotes because I had quite the unusual tree this year. But I like seeing everything else.
Like that ornament, too. And Vermont is beautiful.

I took my tree down yesterday as the needles were on the floor after it tipped over and the tree was brown and sad....

  3. How sweet! The little bird is adorable.

We took our tree down yesterday. I really enjoy Christmas while it's here, but am never sorry to let it go and to move on.

Do you make resolutions? I don't. It's not that I don't need improving, because I do and I used to, but they kept getting away from me.

I did make one for this year -- to be more organised in the morning. But by 10 AM New Year's Day, I realised I'd already blown it! So I guess I'll just muddle on as usual.

Hope you have a great day!

Isn't blogging the most wonderful thing? You'll enjoy that for many years to come.
